Call Me When They Kiss-Podcast Cover Design
This was literally one of the best projects I have ever done! I am so thankful to have been able to do this!
When I started designing this, I wanted the concept itself to drive the design. The phrase “call me when they kiss” already feels like a text you would send to a friend while watching a show together, so I leaned into that playful, conversational energy. I explored a lot of different typography directions first because I wanted the title to feel bold, memorable, and a little dramatic, just like the moments the podcast talks about.
From there I focused on creating a layout that would feel eye catching on podcast platforms where artwork is usually seen at a really small size. I kept the composition clean and centered around strong typography so it would stand out while scrolling, but still feel fun and personality driven.
This project was really about finding the balance between something playful and something polished. The final design captures the excitement, humor, and anticipation behind those iconic “finally” moments in movies and TV.
And an added bonus was that the podcast was one of Spotify's top ones last month! So it was featured on their Instagram!
